High humidity make Delhiites cringe in discomfort

It's not so much the temperature but the high humidity that is making you sweat and fume these days. And the bad news is that the met department forecasts the situation will remain the same over the next few days.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the humidity level recorded Sunday was over 64 percent.

"The humidity level recorded Sunday was 64.7 percent. The humidity will remain high over the next few days due to the easterly winds," a met official said.

The minimum temperature recorded was two degrees above average, at 29.3 degrees Celsius. The maximum could go up to 42 degrees Celsius, again two degrees above average.
