District Judge RK Gauba said accused Pulkit Chaudhry does not deserve bail at this stage. The police on December 4 had arrested five men, including three law students, after a complaint was lodged at the Defence Colony police station on September 15 by the mother of the 16-year-old victim. "The accused had invited the girl to a party at his house after school. She had befriended him on a social networking site," said the police.

All the five accused — Chaudhary, Amandeep, Sharad Shekhar Tomar, Roopansu and Vikas Punia — are presently in Tihar jail.
