Jehangir Ali, who works with The Asian Age, was on his way to Chirag Dilli on his bike when a speeding SUV hit him. A group of young boys came to Ali's rescue who had broken his arm and was bleeding profusely. They rushed him to AIIMS Trauma Centre.

The driver of the SUV fled from the spot but the youth noted the number of the car, which helped the police in tracking down the driver of the SUV, Sunil. He has been booked for rash and negligent driving.
