"On behalf of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, TR Baalu extended his best wishes to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and presented him a bouquet wishing him good health," a statement from Baalu's office said.

Singh, 76, had undergone angiography at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Wednesday and tests there have discovered partial blockage in his coronary arteries.

The Prime Minister, who had earlier undergone a bypass surgery, had complained of some chest pain after which a decision to carry out the tests was taken.
