The fire started at around noon in a sanitaryware factory and was brought under control after three hours but the cooling process is still on, a Delhi Fire Service official said.

Twenty-four fire engines battled the flames.

"Our investigations have found out that an electrical short circuit caused the fire in the factory," a police official said.
