The police said Dhirender Singh, a resident of Aligarh in UP, allegedly stabbed Samiksha to death at her Tagore Garden residence on November 6.

The police arrested him on Tuesday from Azadpur when he came to meet his father.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Sharad Aggarwal said, “Singh said he became friendly with Samiksha after she asked him to deliver coconuts to her residence.” Singh objected to Samiksha talking to other men and asked her to “break relations” with them but she ignored him, the police said.

On November 6, Singh stabbed Samiksha with a dagger after a heated argument.
