The police have registered a murder case against the accused, who fled the spot after committing the crime.

The police said that Vijay came home drunk and his wife did not open the door despite repeated knocks. It was then that Vijay entered another room and slept on his brother’s cot. When Sanjay asked his brother to allow him to sleep on the cot, he is reported to have refused, which led to a scuffle. During the argument, Vijay attacked his brother with bricks and stones till he was dead.

“The accused fled the spot after committing the crime,” Satvir Singh, SHO Bhupani said.
