Man stabbed, robbed in moving bus in Nehru Place
A man working for a public relations company was allegedly stabbed by unidentified assailants during a robbery bid gone wrong on a moving Blueline bus on Thursday.
A man working for a public relations company was allegedly stabbed by unidentified assailants during a robbery bid gone wrong on a moving Blueline bus on Thursday.

The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. The victim has been identified as Amit Mishra (26), who works as a PR media coordinator for a private company in Nehru Place.
“He had boarded a Blueline bus plying on route number 375 from Laxmi Nagar and was on way to his Kalkaji office when the incident occurred,” said a senior police officer.
“As the bus approached Nehru Place bus stop, I started making my way towards the rear exit,” said Mishra.
However, when he was near the conductor’s seat, a passenger sitting next to him reportedly pointed a knife at him.
“When I resisted, he got up pushed me and was soon joined by six others,” he said.
Mishra's co-passengers reportedly asked the driver to stop the bus hearing all the commotion.
“The assailants quickly made their way out of the bus as soon as the bus was brought to a stop but managed to snatch the victim's mobile phone and stabbed him in his arm before they fled,” the officer said.
“When I went to the police station but the police refused to register my complaint,” alleged Mishra.
Police said the victim's formal complaint would be registered as soon as his claims were verified.
