While mayor Rajni Abbi accused Dikshit of "selective amnesia", standing committee chairperson Yogender Chandolia lambasted the Congress leader of diverting people's attention by framing baseless charges against the MCD.

Abbi said, "While on the one hand she (Dikshit) talks about VK Malhotra committee report in support of her hypothesis of MCD's division, she criticises Shunglu committee report. Dikshit probably suffers from selective amnesia as the Malhotra Committee Report focuses on administrative reforms in DDA, Delhi Police and also about complete statehood for Delhi."
