Though no suicide note was recovered from Loli’s possession citing reasons, police said the victim was suffering from depression after he had a serious argument with his girlfriend.

Before taking the step, Loli reportedly had sent a text message on the mobile phone of his female friend to inform her that he was committing suicide. A call to the police control room was made and Loli was immediately rushed to the Safdarjung Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
