After a pleasant day on Thursday, it was back to hot weather conditions in Delhi today with the mercury recorded at 43.2 degree Celsius.

The Met department said the maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 43.2 degrees.
Though the national Capital witnessed partly cloudy sky, the high level of mercury coupled with the humidity maintained sultry weather conditions.
A short spurt of heavy rains coupled with heavy thunderstorm on Thursday evening brought some relief from the hot weather, plunging the mercury by 10 degrees.
The weather office has forecast a cloudy sky in the city in the next 24 hours with possibility of light rain and thundershowers in some areas.
