In a strange incident, K.V. Singh, the Ministry of Home Affairs official who went missing on Wednesday was found unconscious opposite his own house on Thursday morning. Police are clueless about the alleged abduction as they have not been able to take any statement from the victim.

However, they are not ruling out the possibility of a robbery bid.
Police said that Singh (61), who works as an Under Secretary with the relief and rehabilitation section of the Ministry, went missing at noon on Wednesday when he left his Vikaspuri residence to withdraw money from an ATM.
Police said the Singh family was supposed to leave for Kerala this evening for a
holiday. According to a family member, Singh was beaten up as he had several injury marks on his body.
