MLA blames NDMC for CP project delay

“The contract of redevelopment of Connaught Place was given to EIL on turnkey basis. This happened on nomination basis which is in violation of Article 14 of the Indian Constitution. Instead of blacklisting the company, the NDMC brass continued to favour them with more contracts,” said Tanwar.

A senior official of NDMC, however, said that EIL is capable of handling big projects. “The charges are baseless and EIL has led to a substantial progress in the CP project,” the official said.
