More entry points to ease rush

Foreseeing the rush during the last two days of the trade fair, the organisers have made special arrangements to manage the crowd inside and outside Pragati Maidan. HT reports.

Foreseeing the rush during the last two days of the trade fair, the organisers have made special arrangements to manage the crowd inside and outside Pragati Maidan.

The entry points to the fair have been increased and security at the venue has also been maximised to manage the crowd. “We may shut the crowded pavilions to ease the rush during the day. For the convenience of people, entry to the fair will be made speedier by opening more entry points,” said a senior police officer.

In a case of any untoward incident, an elaborate disaster management plan has also been put into place.
