Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili, who is in India also held discussions with his Indian counterpart national security adviser Shiv Shankar on a host of issues, including the situation in Afghanistan. Jalili, will be travelling to Kabul soon.
He said Tehran is looking to deepen ties with India, especially on security. On the impending nuclear talks, Jalili said “We’ve accepted that these talks should be in January,” adding that details on the dates and venue were being finalised.
