These scanners, which are screening systems with a tunnel opening, will be used specifically to check trucks that will enter the Games village area. Trucks and cargos of various sizes can be passed through the scanner. It can check for narcotics and contraband.

The police will decide on a designated route where it will install the scanner, which can be assembled on site and easily integrated into an existing cargo handling system. It has a steel penetration up to 100 mm and will help in thorough inspection of pallets without hand searching or the need for disassembling.

These scanners would also eliminate the chances of human error.

They will act as a counter check on the security personnel at the Games venue.
