On 31st, police to be out in full force

The Delhi traffic police have planned to deploy 80% of its staff of over 5,000 policemen to check traffic norm violations between 8pm and 3am, said a senior officer of Delhi traffic police.

On Saturday, no vehicle will be allowed to proceed towards Connaught Place beyond roundabout of Mandi House, roundabout of Bengali Market, north foot of Ranjeet Singh Flyover, Minto Road-Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg crossing, Chelmsford Road, RK Ashram Marg-Chitragupta Marg crossing, roundabout Gole Market, roundabout GPO, Patel Chowk, Kasturba Marg-Firozshah Road crossing and Jai Singh Road-Bangla Sahib Lane after 7pm.

"Limited parking places will be available near CP on first come first served basis," said Satyendra Garg, JCP (traffic).
