One person was killed and another critically injured when AC compressor exploded while it was being repaired at a software company in Noida on Sunday.
One person was killed and another critically injured when AC compressor exploded while it was being repaired at a software company in Noida on Sunday.
"Around 12.30 p.m., we got information about an explosion at Sector 4 Citi Bank. When we reached, we found that Atrina Software Company had called a mechanic to repair an air-conditioner," fire station Officer A.B. Pandey said.
“The mechanic was repairing the AC on the ground floor when it exploded, killing one of the two mechanics,” he said. The explosion did not affect the Citi Bank offices, said Pandey.
The dead man has been identified as Azad (28). His assistant Imran (26) was rushed to Kailash Hospital.
Kailash Hospital spokes person V.B. Joshi said Azad was declared brought dead.
Imran's condition was said be critical.
