The Intelligence Bureau (IB) sleuths and Bihar Police on Monday arrested one more suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorist of the module led by Yasin Bhatkal alias Ahmed Siddi Bappa alias Imran from Purnia in Bihar.

The arrested, Farooq, is the fourth accused in 2010 Chinnaswamy stadium bombing in Bangalore. The investigators are now on the lookout of a west Delhi resident from Bihar, and six others with the prime target being Bhatkal.

Top government sources said Farooq, who was taken to the Purnia police station, would be produced in court on Tuesday.

Radicalised in Salafi mosques of north Bihar, Farooq along with Bhatkal, Mohammed Qateel Siddiqui and Gayur Ahmad Jamal were the four persons directly involved in the Chinnaswamy bombing.

While Farooq and Bhatkal planned the bombing in Tumkur in Karnataka, Siddiqui and Jamal joined them from Delhi and Bihar via Mumbai to strike on the cricket ground.

Farooq and others have already identified Yasin Bhatkal as Imran from photographs.

Official sources said they hoped during questioning Farooq would provide details on who brought the gelatin sticks used to target the stadium and also reveal other IM operatives in this network.

The first breakthrough in this case came from a domestic dispute between Siddiqui and his wife. The entire north Bihar IM module and its connection with a private engineering college in Tambaram, Chennai, was unravelled on the basis of Siddiqui’s interrogation.
