Recalling the dastardly attacks, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar said that the horrific memories of the tragic attack were still etched in the minds.

"It was sheer grit of determined Indians that enabled the nation to face the crisis and move ahead with resoluteness," she said.

The House commended the valiant security force personnel who displayed exemplary courage in handing out a crushing blow to the terrorists.

"On this day as a befitting tribute to the brave security personnel and people who laid down their lives, let us reiterate our resolve to unitedly fight terrorism in all its forms," the Speaker said.

In the Rajya Sabha, Chairman Hamid Ansari recalled the supreme sacrifice made by the valiant security personnel in repelling the attack.

Condemning the 26/11 attack, Ansari said that such incidents have firmed our resolve to fight terrorism with dedication.

Rajya Sabha also mourned the death of 391 personnel in a stampede in Cambodia on November 23.

"Our grief is greater on account of ancient ties" with Cambodia, Ansari said expressing heart felt condolences to the government and people of Cambodia.

Members in both the Houses later stood in silence.
