Shivraj Puri never thought that one day he would be asked to write his autobiography. That too, in police custody.

The Gurgaon police have asked Puri to ink his entire background starting from his birth. Confused over a story involving jargon such as 'inward payments through Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)' and 'demat accounts', officials investigating the case have handed him a fresh notebook to document his life.
"He pretends not to follow Hindi and feels comfortable talking in English. He also uses financial jargon that is a bit confusing for us. That is why we have asked him to tell us on paper about his background, how he got into the profession and lastly about the scam. This would help us understand his modus operandi and his psyche better," a senior police official said.
