"This case should be investigated and inquired properly. Law is taking its course and we will never come in way of it. This won't affect ties with the DMK," Dwivedi told reporters in New Delhi.

The DMK is member of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA).

The CBI Wednesday arrested Raja and two of his aides, R.K. Chandolia and Siddharth Behura, in connection with the 2G spectrum allocation scam.
