“The government is also responsible but the police is even more responsible. Whatever happened, it could have happened during the day also,” said Jagdir Malik, Rajbala’s husband.

He was reacting to the SC order today directing prosecution of police personnel involved in the crackdown.

The court also awarded a compensation of R5 lakh to the family of Rajbala. Twenty five per cent of the amount would come from Ramdev’s trust.
