Rashtrapati Bhavan to be documented

A Multi-Volume Documentation Project of Rashtrapati Bhavan (MVDPoRB) to “preserve the various facets of Rashtrapati Bhavan” was initiated by the President’s secretariat.

The steering committee, comprising Bhavan representatives and eminent experts, will bring out several volumes on the making of Rashtrapati Bhavan, its architecture and archaeological significance as well as its retreat at Dehradun, Mashobra and Hyderabad.

“There is a need for an authentic, official documentation of the Bhavan,” Venu Rajamony, press secretary to the President, said in a statement.
