Following differences on certain administrative issues, the resident doctors at New Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital went on strike on Wednesday evening.
Sources said junior doctors turned in official intimation to the hospital authorities around 6pm, claiming mass causal leave, after they were not satisfied with the response of hospital authorities to their demands.
The doctors had demands pertaining to disbursement of salaries, security, Wi-Fi facility in the entire premises and lack of hostel accommodation.
