The PMO said the Task Force headed by former cabinet secretary Naresh Chandra had called on Singh to hand over its report on the panel’s assessment of the security scenario facing the country.

This is the first holistic review of the security situation.

A panel member said the recommendations cover the need for response to hostage crisis and cyber security concerns.
