Stinking area to be cleaned now

Meena directed the expressway management company to clean the drains and install more pumps to remove stagnant water.

He also asked the company to clean garbage from the drains along the expressway within two days. Meena's team comprised SDM Gurgaon north Satender Duhan, MCG joint commissioner Veena Hooda, executive engineer Rajesh Bansal, Huda executive engineer SK Gupta and Naresh Pawar, and representatives of DS Construction Company and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The team started inspection from Rajiv Chowk. Just a little distance away Meena spotted garbage dumped in drains along the expressway. This, he showed to the expressway management company DGSCL.

Then Meena directed MCG to clean drains on the outer side of the service lane, which was also filled with garbage.

The team also went to Behrampur village. Huda, too, was asked to clean overflowing sewer at Hero Honda Chowk. The team then went to inspect the sump. There are also two culverts on the expressway between Kherki Daula and Hero Honda Chowk.
