The Delhi government has decided to continue the subsidy being provided on limited consumption of power to consumers in the wake of recent tariff hike. "Power demand is going up day by day. The government has been able to meet around 5,400 MW power demand successfully, which reflects that there is not going to be any problem in power supply in future. We would like to continue subsidy on limited consumption of power," said chief minister Sheila Dikshit. However, the quantum of subsidy is yet to be decided.
