Sunny Saturday in Delhi, no rains in store, says MET dept

It was a clear and sunny Saturday in the capital as the temperatures remained normal. The met office has forecast similar weather Sunday with no rains.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 34.3 and 23.4 degree Celsius, both normal for this time of the year,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The humidity levels wavered between a high of 80 and a low of 39%, added the official. According to IMD, the skies will remain clear Sunday and there is no possibility of rain.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 34 and 23 degrees Celsius,” said the official. The city has received a total of 618.5 mm of rainfall this monsoon which is two percent below average, added the official. Friday’s maximum temperature was 33.6 degrees Celsius which is normal for this time of the year while the minimum was two notches above average at 24.8 degrees Celsius.
