Swanky ISBT to be unveiled in January

The Delhi government plans to gift something unique to Delhiites this New Year — a revamped and swanky Kashmere Gate inter-state bus terminus (ISBT).

The Delhi government plans to gift something unique to Delhiites this New Year — a revamped and swanky Kashmere Gate inter-state bus terminus (ISBT).

"The refurbished Kashmere Gate ISBT would have all facilities, such as trolleys and escalators," said Delhi transport minister Ramakant Goswami.
"It would be built on the lines of Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport," he said.

The bus terminus, which has been under renovation for more than 18 months, is expected to open in January 2013.
