Delhi reported one confirmed case, and with that the Delhi NCR has a total number of 33 confirmed cases.
Of the two cases from Gurgaon, one is that of a 19-year-old male, who travelled from Minnesota to London, staying there for 10 days and reached Delhi on June 21. He had fever, cough and nasal catarrh on June 22.
The second case from Gurgaon is of a 10-year-old female, who travelled from New York to New Delhi on June 19. She had fever, cough and sore throat on June 21. Both of them were under home quarantine and were shifted to a health facility on testing positive.
A total of five fresh cases were reported Thursday. Besides the two cases from Gurgaon, one new case each were reported from Delhi, Pune and Kolkata. With the new cases, the total count of cases in the country rose to 78. Of these, as many as 50 had been discharged after treatment, a health ministry statement said.
