Two young women suffered injuries on their faces when they were attacked with blades in separate incidents in the capital with police on Sunday suspecting that a "psychopath" may be behind it.

Two young women suffered injuries on their faces when they were attacked with blades in separate incidents in the capital with police on Sunday suspecting that a "psychopath" may be behind it.

The two incidents were reported from Mongolpuri on Saturday evening.

The victims were in their early twenties.

According to a senior police official, a similar incident was reported from Mongolpuri in November also.

Police suspect that a "psychopath" may be behind the incidents, the official said.

Separate cases were registered and investigations are on to nab the culprit.
