Aditi Singh (19), granddaughter of former Prime Minister V.P Singh, was injured in a road accident late on Saturday evening.

The incident happened on the Golf Links Road. Aditi was heading towards Greater Kailash from VP Singh's residence at around 9:00 p.m. when a Ford Endeavor car driven by a businessman's son took a wrong turn and hit her car, the police said.
Aditi was rushed to Apollo Hospital where her condition was said to be stable.
"The two cars hit each other with a huge impact. Instead of helping the girl, the accused, Harveer Chadha (22), tried to run on foot from Golf Links Road but was caught by locals who called the police," said a senior police officer.
The police also added that Chadha was coming from the wrong side. He was booked for rash driving and causing hurt.
Chadha is going his graduation through correspondence while his father reportedly runs a liquor business.
"She is stable now, though she complained of some pain in the chest after the accident in which her Alto car was damaged. The driver took a wrong turn as there was no cut on the road for 100 meters," said the police officer.
