Scindia handed over various gifts to three children, who suffer from terminal illnesses. Four-year-old Tushar, who had wished for a remote-controlled toy car, was ecstatic as Scindia handed over the car to him. “I always wanted this car. I am so happy to finally get it,” said Tushar.
Chief minister Sheila Dikshit also graced the occasion and wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
The other two — Shivam and Abhishek — were also showered with gifts. While Shivam, 9, wished for a bicycle, Abhishek, 15, wanted a laptop.
