A young woman was arrested in the national capital allegedly with fake currency with a face value of Rs 18.5 lakh, police said on Thursday.

A young woman was arrested in the national capital allegedly with fake currency with a face value of Rs 18.5 lakh, police said on Thursday.
Rizwana (24) was arrested by Delhi Police's Special Cell from her residence in Welcome area in north-east Delhi on Wednesday, they said.
The arrest came following investigations into a specific tip off about her alleged involvement in a fake currency racket.
Counterfeit notes with a face value of Rs 18.5 lakh were recovered from her residence during searches conducted by policemen.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code.
