She said she was abducted from southeast Delhi’ s Sunlight Colony around 1 am on Saturday.
According to the police, the woman said that she was on her way to buy food from the 24X7 store, when the trio abducted her.
“She alleged the men were in a grey car and stopped as they saw her. They asked her to come along and after she refused, one of them got down and pulled her inside the car and drove off.
In her statement, she said the men took her around for over two hours, touched her inappropriately and when she tried to escape, she was raped ,” a senior police officer said.
Sources said the woman had been changing her statement and the sequence of events was still unclear.
Based on suspicion, the police have detained three men in connection with the case.
No arrests have been made till now.
“We have recorded a detained statement of the woman and our teams are verifying all facts,” a senior police officer said.
