A student of Delhi Public School, Rohini, Jain "never burnt the midnight oil and always managed to catch up 6-7 hours of sleep," claimed his father Dr DK Jain, who is also a surgeon at Santom Hospital.

His elder brother is a fourth year medical student.

Siddharth said his success mantra is persistent and focussed approach towards all subjects.
“Pre Medical Test students tend to focus more on Biology, but I concentrated equitably on Physics and Chemistry, because of which I could make it to the top position,” he said.

Having grown up among doctors, medicine was, certainly, his first choice.

“No one in family had insisted that I should sit for the exam. I have an inclination towards Science,” Siddharth said.
