Youth attempts self-immolation at Vijay Chowk
A man allegedly attempted to immolate himself at Vijay Chowk near the Rastrapati Bhavan in cental Delhi on Saturday, police said.

A man allegedly attempted to immolate himself at Vijay Chowk near the Rastrapati Bhavan in cental Delhi on Saturday, police said.
The 32-year-old man poured kerosene over his body and set himself ablaze at around 3.30 PM, they said, adding he was admitted to the Ram Monahar Lohia Hospital with burn injuries.
"We received a call at 3.35 PM that a man tried to immolate himself at Vijay Chowk. A fire-tender was sent to the spot immediately," a fire brigade official said.
