Ambedkar University Delhi starts admission process for new batch

Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has started its admission process for the 2016-17 session. The university will accept online applications for admission to its seven undergraduate programmes from May 2, 2016.
Admission process to the various research programmes will be announced soon. However, applications to the MBA and MA in social entrepreneurship programmes, for which online applications were open till the March 31, 2016, have already closed.
A total of 245 seats are available in seven bachelor’s programmes. Admission to the undergraduate programmes will be based on marks obtained in Class 12 examinations.
To be eligible to apply for admission to mathematics, you must have obtained a minimum of 65% in mathematics in the Class 12 examination from a recognised Board.
For applying to BA honours in both mathematics and economics, the marks obtained in mathematics in the Class 12 Board examination must be included in the calculation of the aggregate of the best four subjects.
To be eligible for admission to BA honours English, you must have obtained a minimum of 65% marks in English in Class 12. The total intake this year in every BA programme is 35.
A total of 538 seats are available in the various postgraduate programmes offered at AUD. To be eligible for MA programmes, you must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% or 50 % marks (or an equivalent grade) as the case may be, in different programmes from a recognised university in any discipline.
You need to clear an entrance test and interview to be eligible for the postgraduate programme. The deadline for submitting applications is June 20, 2016. Visit university website for more.
