Annual undergraduate fest 'Atharv' begins at IIM Indore

The annual undergraduate fest 'Atharv' organised by the integrated programme in management (IPM) students at IIM Indore began with loads of enthusiasm, fervour, team-spirit and joy at the campus on Friday.

The annual undergraduate fest 'Atharv' organised by the integrated programme in management (IPM) students at IIM Indore began with loads of enthusiasm, fervour, team-spirit and joy at the campus on Friday.

The event was marked with the presence of around 1300 participants from around 61 colleges across the country for 50 plus events.

The three-day fest includes rounds of cultural, management and literary events including the most hyped I-Conclave, Model United Nations, Vanity and the fun filled Comedy Night. Various competitions including Vaudeville (Talent Hunt), Avant Garde (B-Plan Competition), Vox Populi (Journalism Event), Ecojenture (Economic Theory based event), Stratosphere (Strategy Planning Competition) and Halla Bol (Street Play).

The inaugural ceremony was held in the the presence of Swami Gyaanvatsal from BAPS Sansthan, Vadodara.

Addressing the students, Gyaanvatsal mentioned about the 8-8-8 division of a day. He said you should work hard and ethically for 8 hours. Also, a sleep of 8 hours is important. However, you need to focus on 3-F and 3-H namely family, friends and faith and health, hygiene and hobby, for the remaining 8 hours without which, life can never be meaningful.
