Assam HSLC results 2022: Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) declared results of this year’s high school leaving certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrasa examination on Tuesday morning.

Students can download their mark sheets from these websites by entering their Roll and No in the space provided. They can also get their results from the Mobile App—SEBA Results, 2022—by downloading it from Google Playstore. The App is developed by Narayani Edusols.

A total of 405,582 students (188,570 boys and 217012 girls) appeared for the exams. The total pass percentage for this year is 56.49% (boys 58.80% and girls 54.49%). This is a sharp drop from last year’s pass percentage of 93.10%.

In 2021, exams were not held due to Covid19 and results were declared through an evaluation formula based on results of previous years and internal assessment.

This year, among the districts, Chirang has the lowest pass percentage at 34.27% and Dhemaji highest at 85.46%.

A total of 55 students secured the Top 10 ranks.

Raktotpal Saikia of St. Mary’s High School, North Lakhimpur topped the Top 10 ran holders followed by Bhuyashi Medhi of Little Flowers School, Nalbari. The third position was secured by three students—Mridupawan Kalita of Don Bosco High School, Kheroni, Labeeb Muzib of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Boiragimath and Partha Pratim Das of Lohit Dikrong Higher Secondary School, Bihpuria.

No rank holders were declared last year as exams were not conducted due to Covid19. According to SEBA, this will be last year when names of rank holders will be officially declared.

On Tuesday, SEBA also declared results of Assam High Madrasa Examination, 2022. A total of 10454 students (3870 boys and 6584 girls) had appeared for the exams. The overall pass percentage was 54.73% (57.67% boys and 52.99%).

The first rank was held by Mufassir Al Hasan of Al Kauser Model Academy of Sonitpur district. Two students got the second rank--Sadiqa Ahmed of Dhakua High Madrasa in Barpeta district and Mostaque Ahmed of Piradhara High Madrasa in Bongaigaon. Two students got third rank—Shahnaaz Parvin of Daulatpur Madrasa Higher Secondary School in Lakhimpur and Irshadullah of Borghuli High Madrasa in Nagaon.

In a notification, Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) informed that results of some students have been withheld due to various reasons like registration anomaly. Students will have to claim these withheld results within 4 months or else the declared results for them would be cancelled, the notification said.

All requests for changes and correction in mark sheets should be submitted within 30 days of declaration of results with an application submitted through the head of institution of the student.
