Bihar Board results 2018: Class 12th result date advanced to June 6 for DU admissions
Bihar Board Results 2018: Keeping in mind the last date for DU applications (June 7), BSEB has advanced the result date for Class 12 from June 7 to June 6.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will now announce the intermediate (Class 12) board examination result on June 6, instead of June 7 as announced earlier, as the last date for applying to Delhi University colleges is June 7.
The result of the matriculation (Class 10) exams will be announced on June 20.

This year, 17,70,042 students filled the forms for matric exam and 12,80,000 students for the intermediate exams.
To stop students from cheating this year, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), which conducts the exams, asked students not to wear shoes or socks and enforced several other measures. Candidates were frisked at the entry gate of the exam venue and again after they sat in their allotted seats. They were monitored by video while writing the exam at all centres where extra force and home guards had been deployed.
The pass percentage of matric exam in 2017 was 50.12 as 861,000 candidates out of 17,23,911 had failed. In the intermediate exam, 30.11% science students passed, 32.13% humanities and 73.76% commerce cleared the exam.
