CAT 2013 from October 16 to November 11

The Common Admission Test (CAT) of the Indian Institutes of Management is going to be held over 20 days from October 16 to November 11, 2013. CAT vouchers will be available at selected Axis Bank branches from July 29 to September 24, 2013 while aspirants may register from July 29 to September 26, 2013.

“CAT is one of most prestigious management entrance exams of the country for admissions into the Indian Institutes of Management as well as other top management institutes. Getting to know the dates well in advance of the registration and testing window will enable candidates to prepare better for a successful future, said Rohit Kapoor, CAT 2013 convenor. “As always, our focus remains on conducting the test in a fair and secure manner,” he said.

The authorities are going to add four more testing locations for CAT 2013, raising the number of sites to 40, said Soumitra Roy, managing director, Prometric India, which has partnered with the IIMs to deliver the CAT examination since 2009. “These new locations at Surat, Udaipur, Trivandrum and Vijayawada will provide greater flexibility and ease to candidates while scheduling their appointments,” said Roy.
