ICSE, ISC Results 2019 details: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination declared the results of ISC (12th) and ICSE (10th) Board exams on Tuesday afternoon.

While the pass percentage for candidate appearing for ICSE was 98.54%, the pass percentage for candidates appearing for ISC examination was 96.52%.
The joint toppers for ICSE were Juhi Rupesh Kajaria from Jamnabhai Narsee School, Mumbai and Manhar Bansal from Little Flower Convent School, Muktsar with 99.5%.
For the first time the ISC toppers scored 100%. They were Dewang Kumar Agarwal from Le Martiniere Kolkata (Science) and Vibha Swaminarayan from Mallya Aditi International school, Bengaluru (Humanities).
Congratulating the toppers, Jerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary of CISCE said, “It is my honour to announce that students have kept the expectations of teachers and parents and have performed incredibly. I congratulate the topppers.”
A total of 196271 students appeared for the 10th Boards (ICSE) in 2019 from 2247 schools across India. A total of 106974 boys and 89297 girls appeared in it out of which boys and girls passed the exam respectively.
Girls have fared better than boys in both forms of the exam (10th and 12th) when it comes to pass percentage. In ICSE, girls have achieved a pass percentage of 99.05% whereas boys have achieved 98.12%. In ISC, girls have achieved a pass percentage of 97.84 whereas boys have achieved 95.40%.
Region wise, west dominated in ICSE exam while South dominated in ISC. In ICSE, the region applicants achieved a pass percentage of 99.76% and in ISC, the region has achieved 98.91%.
When it comes to special category students, In ICSE a total of 9996 scheduled caste students took the examination achieving a pass percentage of 97.75%. A total of 6396 scheduled tribe students took the test achieving a pass percentage of 97.44% and a total of 39815 other backward students took the examination achieving a pass percentage of 98.53%. There were 1021 candidates with learning difficulty and out of them 123 scored above 90%.
Similarly, in ISC, a total of 3716 scheduled caste students took the examination achieving a pass percentage of 95.26 %. A total of 3186 scheduled tribe students took the test achieving a pass percentage of 93.74% and a total of 12588 other backward students took the examination achieving a pass percentage of 96.19%. There were 196 students with learning difficulty and out of them 25 scored above 90%.
