Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, offers Commonwealth scholarship and ­fellowship plan for Indian ­students in the United Kingdom. Scholarships are provided in the field of ­engineering and technology, science,­ ­agriculture, humanities and social sciences. Each scholarship provides airfare to the UK and return on ­expiry of the ­scholarship, tuition and examination fees, a personal ­maintenance ­allowance at the rate of £917 per month (£1,134 per month for those ­studying at ­institutions in the London Metropolitan area)

Eligibility: ­An Indian ­citizen residing in India and one who has ­completed tertiary ­education in English ­medium can apply
