Aspirants have been asked to bring a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam hall. They are required to reach the exam venue as per reporting time mentioned on admit cards.
Electronic devices, metallic objects are banned from the CAT exam venue. One pen and one scribble pad will be provided to each candidate for rough work.

Though the exact date for CAT 2022 result has not been confirmed, it is expected by the second week of January, 2023, as per an official statement.

There were 20 questions total in the Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning part in slot 2, broken up into 4 sets.
DILR was moderate to challenging in slot 2 of CAT 2022. Two sets had 4 questions and other 2 sets had 6 questions.

The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension sections of slot 2 of CAT 2022 was at moderate level of difficulty. In total, 24 questions were to be answered in the allotted 40 minutes.

The QA section of CAT 2022 was as expected comparable to CAT 2019 and CAT 2021. It contained 22 short questions that could be answered in 40 minutes. There were 8 non-MCQs in the section.
CAT 2022: DILR analysis of slot 1
There were 20 questions total in the Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning part, broken up into 4 sets. DILR was moderate to challenging to the CAT 2021 level of difficulty. There were 5 non-MCQs.
The bar chart was simple and simply based on DI. The other three required a lot of time. One set had a combination of LR and DI.

CAT 2022 paper analysis: VARC in slot 1
VARC had a moderate difficulty level in slot 1. It had 24 questions to be answered in 40 minutes. Contrary to what was predicted, this section was a little longer than average.
There were 5 non-MCQ questions (all Verbal). Each RC paragraph contained between 470 and 500 words. Two passages were simple to read, 2 passages were challenging, and each had 2 questions that could be answered.

CAT 2022 marking scheme: No negative marking for non-MCQs
In the morning slot of CAT 2022, there was no negative marking for non- CQs.
Each question carried +3 for both MCQs and non-MCQs with -1 for wrong answers in MCQs.
