Officials of the board said that the result declaration is taking time due to various procedures of checking the OMR sheets. This is because many candidates had not filled the OMR sheets correctly.

A board official, who did not want to be named, said it will take around a week’s time to declare the results.

Candidates were earlier assured by the officials that the result will be declared by the end of January but that seems to be a distant possibility now.

The examinations were conducted on October 15 and 22 for 9900 posts and around 11 lakh candidates had appeared.

Around 50,000 candidates will be shortlisted for the physical efficiency test (PET). Till now, there are no updates on the official website of CSBC.
