DU’s third list out: Seats still up for grabs in popular colleges

Popular courses at Delhi University are still up for grabs with a dip in the cut-offs by 0.25 to 1 percentage points, in the third list released by the Delhi University on Friday.

Popular courses at Delhi University are still up for grabs with a dip in the cut-offs by 0.25 to 1 percentage points, in the third list released by the Delhi University on Friday.

At the Lady Shri Ram (LSR) college, BA economics saw a marginal dip of 0.5 percentage point and is available at 97%.

BA English is now at 96.75%, a decrease of one percentage point. Seats for Hindi, psychology, sociology and BCom (Hons) are closed.

Miranda House still has seats open for BA economics and English with 96.50% and 96% cut-off.

Admissions for political science, geography and Hindi are closed.

At the Shri Ram College of Commerce, seats for BA economics are still available at 97.37%. For Bcom (hons), seats are now even closed for OBC and SC.

While at Kirori Mal College, seats are available for courses like economics (96.75%), history (94.75%), political science (97%).

At Ramjas college, economics and English are still open at 96.75 and 95.5%, respectively.

At Kamala Nehru college, the cut-off for humanities course dipped up to 1.5%.

Economics is available for 95.25%, while Psychology was at 94%.

However, BCom (programme) has been re-opened for admission in the third list, it is available at 94.7%.

In few colleges such as Gargi and Deshhandu, seats for science courses are filled. At Gargi, seats are only open for life sciences at 85%.

At Miranda House, however, admissions to science courses are still open with a dip of 0.25 to 0.67 percentage points.

At Ramjas college, science courses have seen a dip of up to two percentage points.

Physical science has seen a dip from 91% to 89%. Popular courses such as chemistry and physics are available at 95% and 95.33%, respectively.

For off-campus colleges, such as Ram Lal Anand, the cut-off for Bcom and Computer Science still remained above 95%.

B Com was available at 96%, while computer science was at 96.25% (without Physics, Chemistry and Maths).
