Many schools are gearing up to give a warm send-off to Class 12 students – what with the boards and finals around the corner. Modern School, Barakhamba Road came up with an interesting idea.
Many schools are gearing up to give a warm send-off to Class 12 students – what with the boards and finals around the corner. Modern School, Barakhamba Road came up with an interesting idea. On Scribble Day, held recently, juniors and the outgoing Class 12 students scribbled on each others’ uniforms – for the happy memories and for luck for the future. The seniors had scribbles all over – even on their faces. “It was real fun. I will miss school and my juniors,” says Akshit Gupta, a senior student.
Three fun things to do to give a warm farewell to your seniors
1 Photographs Get all the ‘baby’ pictures of the seniors who joined schools at primary level and make a ‘babies’ gallery’
2 Screen a movie Get a video camera and capture seniors, teachers giving emotional speeches and screen it during the farewell
3 That personal touch Do something special - like making the farewell gifts yourself or cooking up something great for your seniors’ party
