The United States-India Educational Foundation recently organised a session to help aspirants with some tips on the most fundamental step towards studying in the US – drawing a shortlist for graduate programmes. A shortlist is crucial because standards on US campuses vary. Even the culture of one department differs from another. Most importantly, you need not run after the ‘prestige programmes’ because it’s professors who make a huge difference.
